Border closures, testing confusion and mixed conditions have clouded things somewhat. We have been able to get back on the slopes though, and the vast majority of us have finally been able to enjoy the mountains after an absolutely rollercoaster two year ride. It seems we are finally waving goodbye to the illness that has prevented us from enjoying the sport we love so much for far too long. Yes!

It is thought that ski bookings are up 88% on last winter. Lifts were mainly closed although resort facilities opened to a degree. More interestingly, bookings are up 8.2% on 2020 and almost back to pre-pandemic levels.
