Le Tremplin
At the bottom of the Plenny cable car and the Stade run, this is the place to go for après in Morzine – with live DJs every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday, an outdoor bar serving beers and shots, as well as outdoor heating and rugs for the more sedate, from 4pm to 8pm it is usually packed.
Le Coup de Coeur
Those looking for a more chilled out après experience should head here – essentially a wine bar, but done beautifully, with outdoor heating, furs, free canapés, and a large wine selection, it is the perfect destination for those wanting to escape the ‘beers and shots’ après cliché.
Tibetan Cafe
Ordinarily packed with post dinner drinkers, you can order a ‘metre’ of beer – a container a metre tall with a small tap at the bottom, which saves you going back to a busy bar again and again. Good venue to watch sporting events as well.
L’Opera
The most prominent nightclub in Morzine, many an evening will be rounded off in here – open from 0030 to 0500 this is a blend of cheesy tunes and French techno – not to everyone’s taste, but at 5 am will you really care?!
