We know that eating plays a big part of your ski holiday – after a long morning or day of skiing, there is nothing better than sitting down to a well-earned meal, whether that be a traditional French dish or simply a satisfying pizza.
We have put together a list of the restaurants that we think are worth paying a visit.
L’Anfionne
Positioned at the very bottom of Plein Soleil chairlift is a modern yet cosy mountain restaurant.
It has a big terrace with panoramic views, making it the perfect stop for a hearty and local cuisine lunch or just a hot chocolate… Trust us, the hot chocolates are worth stopping for.
Le Blanchot
If you are looking for a low budget bite to eat, Le Blanchot is pretty honest to your wallet.
You can grab a seat on the terrace or balcony of this popular two-storey hut and enjoy the freshly made salads or tasty tartiflette.
You can find this chic hut on the serpentine piste. Want to know more about Flaine?
La Pente à Jules
The great menu and friendly service make this a popular place for local to join you on your table.
You need to reserve at lunchtime as it does get rather busy.
We would recommend going at 11 am or 1 pm.
It is placed right at the crossroads of a red and green run (Almandine and Epicea pistes) so it’s the perfect meeting point for mixed groups.
