Courchevel is located in the infamous Three Vallees and boasts the title of the largest skiable area in the world. Made up of 4 resorts named after their elevation at 1300 La Praz, 1550, 1650 and 1850, the latter is frequented by the rich and famous with lower elevations providing more affordable skiing. Skiing in Courchevel is rewarding not only due to it’s location and choice of surrounding resorts, but the village offers rich history and culture as well as accommodating more modern forms of entertainment.

There are a number of Restaurants from La Montagne to L’Ambassador, L’Erterlou and Le Chabichou, Le Bateau Ivre to name a few. The high number of food outlets ensure you have a wide choice of meals from basic to Michelin star menus. Even many of the local hotels feature restaurants so you will never go hungry when skiing in Courchevel.

Apres Ski is a well sought after aspect of the skiing culture easing skiers from a hard day of skiing to a hard night of partying. Most bars pick up the Apres Ski baton as restaurants close early which leaves you plenty of places to choose from. The Signal bar is notorious for it’s strong beer whilst Bar Les Schuss offers a more traditional charm. The upmarket bars in Courchevel 1850 such as TJ’s  appeals to the British crowd drawing them in with their famous cocktails. Or, if you are feeling more continental, head over to Le Caves, one of the most popular nightclubs in Courchevel with an International crowd.

You don’t have to just go skiing in Courchevel as there are many Activities you can indulge in. From non snow & ski activities to extreme sports, you will be spoil for choice. During winter you can try everything from Tobogganing, Ice Skating, Ice Karting, Husky Sledding to Snow Mobile Riding. Or if you have had enough of the snow, try Hot Air Ballooning  Paragliding or take a simple mountain walk. There is also the Forum building providing many indoor activities from swimming to wall climbing as well as traditional indoor sports from table tennis to bowling. In the summer months you can try your hand at hiking or biking around the picturesque landscape.
