Probably the best value. But long gone are the days of cramped studios. The ski world has truly got its act together and has opened up a huge range of options from 2* affordability to 5* luxury. Many even have incredible Wellness Centres with indoor swimming pools and on demand catering options or pre-holiday food/drink delivery. Sizes range from small studios for 2 people to outstanding multi-bedroom chalets & apartments for 14/16.
Top Tip: To get the best deal, try to reach maximum occupancy. And when looking for a larger self-catered property, book early – they are popular!

Catered Ski Holidays
The perfect option for those looking to relax allowing others to do the hard work. A slightly less formal ski holiday, catered ski holidays are perfect for groups of friends or families. Minimum occupancy tends to be 6 with maximum reaching 30-40 beds. Be warned though, supply has significantly reduced thanks to Brexit and difficulties surrounding employment in Europe so you will need to book really early.
Top Tip: Watch out for under-occupancy charges and inclusions. Don’t assume you need to book with the ones that offer the “most”, there is only so much food & drink one can consume!

Contactless Catered Ski Holidays
An absolutely genius concept. A perfect option for those looking for a stress-free holiday combined with privacy. A weekly food & drink delivery will be waiting for you on arrival and provides breakfasts, afternoon teas and evening meals for your week’s stay. You just need to throw it all together! With this new concept gaining real momentum by the day, its becoming hugely popular. Again, you’ll need to be quick.
Top Tip: For great affordability, take the set menu option. For something a little more bespoke, go A la Carte and provide your own shopping list before arrival.

Ski Hotel Holidays
These tend to come with 2 offerings – B&B and Half-Board. The latter tends to refer to a breakfast and evening meal combination. With a huge range of 2* simplicity to 5* off-the-scale luxury, there’s a huge array of options out there. Ski Hotels are often viewed as the most expensive option however everything is relative. Its about getting value for money. This could be £250pp for a Half-Board Pension or £3,500pp for a B&B Hotel.
Top Tip: Choose the rate & board that’s right for you and check out the cancellation policies – these can often be the best across all accommodation types.
