Gampe Thaya

Located by piste 11, the Gampe Thaya is an incredible mountain lodge on the alm.
They serve Tyrolean specialities with most of the ingredients coming from their own farm.
Service with a big smile, decorated with taste and respect for their roots. They also have a good selection of vegetarian and healthy dishes on offer.
The restaurant is perfectly set and could be reached by the slopes.
It is a beautiful place for a spot of lunch.
Ice Q (top of Gaislackogelbahn II gondola)
Have you seen the James Bond, Spectre film? If so you might recognise this restaurant in one of the main scenes.
The ice Q offers gourmet food with an amazing view.
The food is full of local flavours and will leave you contently full but not stuffed… unless you are loaded.
The glass facades open up new perspectives of the stunning Ötztal mountains.
The entire building seems to be transparent and fits perfectly into its natural surroundings.
Reserve in advance before you go. Don’t just show up because you will not find seating in the main restaurant during the high season.

The view from the sun terrace is something special and unique.
The rustic mountain hut with its pleasant dining room and good food lures guests from throughout the ski resort.
Hühnersteign
Situated by the Langegg chairlift, Hühnersteign is well known as the Chicken Hut; this is the go-to place for delicious chicken dishes and salads.
Portion sizes are good enough to fill a hungry skier!
